Accommodation and Activities
A high level of care is extended to guests at Kirurumu Tented Lodge as a warm welcome is given to the weary traveler. First class service, very comfortable and well-spaced tents, delicious home-cooked food and a relaxed atmosphere may all be taken for granted at Kirurumu.

Eco-friendly
Kirurumu Tented Lodge is extremely unobtrusive, having been built with sensitivity toward the landscape. Great care was taken not to cut any trees, the tent bases were made from local, volcanic stone and the roofs are thatched, blending into the environment.

Impact on the Lodge's surroundings has been absolutely minimal, as all utility lines were carefully placed underground and hot water is created by solar panels. As a result, bird life around the Lodge has increased and even the shy dik-dik, the smallest of the antelope family, has remained resident around camp.

Kirurumu supports the local community as well, providing clean, fresh water, and a supportive Community Development program.
