Welcome to Eco Wild!In this issue: 1. Global warming feedback 1. Global warming feedback I received lots of great feedback from last week's newsletter on global warming. Below are two interesting comments: Andrew Mercer from England mentioned that he caught the ferry to France from Dover and left Calais heading down to Brittany in the west. He wrote: "The first thing I noticed was that the emergency telephones were solar powered. But as we drove south across the wide open landscapes of northern France, we spotted a wind turbine in the distance; it was massive. In fact I would say it was the largest I have ever seen...as we approached I realised that it was towering over and powering the service area. So.... two cheers to the French for at least trying to address the issues." Great news! In addition, Mark Hardy reminded me that our diet and agricultural practices can also affect global warming since cattle release methane, which contributes to global warming. This doesn't necessarily mean you have to be a vegetarian to make a difference though! There are other things you can do! I hope you enjoyed this week's issue as much as I enjoyed writing it; now I encourage you to take some action and go wild about East Africa, wildlife and ecotourism! Thank you for your support!
